Commodity Manager

Job Summary
Develop and manage supplier and commodity strategy to support C-Hawk global factories. Drive negotiations with suppliers to minimize cost and maximize value. Evaluates and on-boards new suppliers as required. Manages supplier relationships. Responsible for supplier performance metrics including quality, on-time delivery, lead times and cost and drive business reviews. Adjust metrics and strategies according to market conditions. Align goals and objectives with all sites, account teams and other internal stakeholders to ensure success for all C-Hawk sites.
Duties Responsibilities:
• Develop and own commodity strategies to support global C-Hawk sites and products
• Manage supplier relationships and performance
• Negotiate commercial contracts and costs
• Collaborate with site and account team to ensure deadlines are met
• Develop and manage pricing strategies
• Collaborate with suppliers on improving quality
• Alleviate supply chain risk and bottlenecks
• Engage engineering and partner with suppliers on design
• Manage NDA’s & other supply agreements
• Manage overall supplier inventory level agreements
• Manager supplier scorecards
• Drive supplier capacity to support business growth
• Manage Dual sourcing strategy and implementation.
• Identify and implement cost-saving measures throughout the procurement process
Requirements:
- 10+ years in Commodity Management or Purchasing
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or other related degrees
- Semiconductor experience a plus
- Some travel required
- Experience in working in a global company
