We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our innovative manufacturing team. In this pivotal role, you will drive quality excellence by developing, implementing, and maintaining robust quality systems that ensure our products meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, and compliance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Includes but not limited to the following):

  • Commence and maintain communications with customers on timeframes, quality issues and corrective actions
  • Provide weekly and monthly reports for Non conformances, customer’s returns and maintain a closed loop corrective actions program
  • Perform Internal and external audits.
  • Support MRB process for RMA disposition, non-conforming material disposition and any corrective actions associated with these processes
  • Working in conjunction with production personnel to respond to all customer’s corrective actions (SCARS) and/or Failure analysis (FA)
  • Utilize 8D or RCCA tools to respond to customers and improve internal quality
  • Develops, implements, and monitors information systems controls to ensure data accuracy, security, regulatory compliance and team awareness.
  • Assist with quality programs to maintain quality certifications. (I.e., ISO 9001/ISO 13485/AS9100D)
  • Develop and maintain quality programs such as FMECA, SPC, DOE’s, PQP’s, gage R&R etc.
  • Strong Computer skills required for reports, charts, data analysis and presentations.
  • Able to interpret blue prints using G.D. & T.
  • Able to inspect parts using commonly used inspection tools is a +

· Highly refined communications skills required.

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree or Engineering Degree and minimum 3 years of experience in the field of engineering, project management or quality assurance.
  • Experience with plastic Manufacturing is a big plus
  • Quality engineering experience, CQE certified a +.
  • Experience with failure analysis, RMA process, SPC development
  • Certified Auditor, a big +

· Regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel and operate computer, phone and other tools as needed

· Ability to reach with hand and arms, handle products in production areas

· Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, speak and listen

· Ability to lift to 30 lbs. as needed
